My love is not the red, red rose,
or darling buds of may.
My love is not a sweet, sweet song,
or a tempting summer's day.

My love is not a silly, silly girl,
with whom you toy and play.
My love is not a finite object
that will simply fade away.

My love is like the oceans deep,
passionate and never ending as the sea.
My love is like the river's flowing,
faithful and everlasting my love shall be.

First Kiss

You feel their embrace, holding you away from the world and 

blocking everything away

You're locked into their gaze you try to free you're eyes but all you 

do is stare deeper into theirs

They run their thumb across your cheek and end on your lips

You try to break the silence but only air forms

They wrap your arms around your waist    

You run your fingers into their hair and push closer

Finally after a moment you bite your lip

They slowly lean in close and tantalize you with your first kiss

You close your eyes and pray that you special moment never ends

Fleeting Beauty Sonnet

Her crystal eyes were like baby blue birds
Her golden curls untouched by sharpened shears

Under the willow tree in groups of thirds

Children whisper dreams in curious ears.

Her lean body glowed with peach complexion.

She stared into the eyes of her lover.

She had longed for virtuous affection

Finally true, she saw he would love her.

She was watching her now, her young child.

She then looked to her husband- in his trance.

She watched his hands and craved his touch so mil’d.

She longed to be fit for a final dance.

The old, frail woman looked to her husband.

She craved his stare- he only gave a glance

He saw her grief then asked for her hand

He warned her kindly of life's final chance

Though velvet skin decays and plump lips crust

Your soul's beauty fuels my eternal lust.

I know it has an extra stanza in it for a sonnet, but oh well; I got excited. ;) Happy Valentines Day everyone!

We Are One

The warm, gentle touch of you against me whole, dissolves my body deep
inside of yours.
Unchain your heart and freely gleam the light of love.
Open the doors for affair and lust, illuminate your soul.
As we become one together our memories will be treasured forever
Pure tender essence, lost in the night sky of your eyes that sparkle like
twilight stars from a distance, feel the passion stroke your cheek kindly.
The synchronized ecstasy binds your soul tightly closer to mine, flooding
my mind with joyful scrutiny.
In an instant our chemistry sparks.
The static, so exotic, burns through your smooth skin because it can no
longer keep in the flames of elation.
Your caress draws my heart to a pause, overwhelmed... it skips a pulse.

I stare at your imperfections because to me, they are flawless.
